An interesting compilation of female rocknroll Musician of the 1960's. This Album demonstrates where a more modern approach to rock music derived from, from a female perspective. Who would've thought that bands of the 60's could be so raunchy & rebel like -- especially, 'a bunch of girls' in a time where being forward, and making advances were deemed unladylike. It's really "that" serious.
A fascinating track for me is "Boy, what'll you do then" by Denise & Co. This track could possibly be [one of the first] of it's kind by a female band. Prior to Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson, Courtney Love, Terri Nunn, Shirley Manson, Vixen, and other era-defining Women in the rock music genre.
Aside from the rocknroll history lesson, the albums analog, and unpolished sound adds charm, and interests. It's an awesome collection for anyone aspiring to be up and coming. I'm completely charmed and over-the-moon by this product. - ULTRA
