West African Music rounds off the week with more from Djeli Sory Kouyate's ensemble, another from Tempo International, and a band from Upper Volta, who were inspired by Bembeya Jazz National’s 'Regard Sur Le Passé'.
In the album notes José Thiono-By stated "It is our duty to give the best of ourselves, hands in hands, in union and fraternity, in order to ensure the continuity of our Upper Volta, forever liberated".

Heard about this on NPRs Fresh Air & am also interested.
Good evening, everyone, i have a somewhat "unusual" request today. I am looking for the four "Pipi Langsstrumpf" Films and the three "Michel Aus Lönneberga" films for my grandchildren. Both, my grandchildren and I, would be absolutely delighted if someone could share them. I’ve already found two of the films, but the quality is very poor. That’s why I thought I’d give it a try here on this blog. I hope that’s okay with everyone. Many thanks in advance for your time and effort. Have a wonderful evening. Best regards, Mike.
Die 4 Pippi Langstrumpf Spielfilme
Spielfilm Nr. 1 » Pippi Langstrumpf (1968/1969)
Spielfilm Nr. 2 » Pippi geht von Bord (1969)
Spielfilm Nr. 3 » Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land (1970)
Spielfilm Nr. 4 » Pippi außer Rand und Band (1970)
1971: Immer dieser Michel 1. – Michel in der Suppenschüssel
1972: Immer dieser Michel 2. – Michel muß mehr Männchen machen
1973: Immer dieser Michel 3. – Michel bringt die Welt in Ordnung
thanks for today's books. I can't open Hardcore, Punk, & Other Junk - Aggressive Sounds in Contemporary Music (2014).pdf- seems the file is corrupted?
Todays posting for A New Kind Of Mambo - GARAGE CHA-CHA-CHA PUNK UNKNOWNS has some kind of problem. It keeps redirecting to a page requiring a sign in. Is there some way this can be corrected? I would hate to miss any of the downloads.
I checked it and found no problem. However, the issue can arise if you don't copy the entire link and paste it into the address bar!
Try this one…

Thanks, new link works fine!
This also happened to me. The sign-in request is from Google and I suspect is down to it's blocking access to sites & pages containing adult images. This may only apply to those of us in countries such as UK where proof of age is now required to access the blocked material.
Signing in to Google will give access to the page, but a simpler method is to find the post on the home page and click on the link to the comments. This takes you directly to RYP's posting of the link.
Hope this helps, Peter
Sorgual, thanks for JT.
cheers,ELtel
bad link
Thanks so much for all the books! Stairway To Heaven only downloads as a doc file, not pdf, I've tried seveal times....
