Today a break in the Grateful Dead matrix series for a treat. This is the final Keith and Donna JGB concert. Keith Godchaux, the GD piano player of whom legend has it that he "had lost it by then" shines throughout this fantastic concert and shows again how truly gifted he was. Garcia could have asked literally anyone to join him, but he preferred Keith. A show that offers a glimpse of what could've been... An audience tape (only circulating source), but sound quality's very good. Cover (by me) is a candid photo of Jerry and Keith.
Brilliant cover versions of "The Harder They Come", "That's All Right, Mama" and the only time they played Miles Davis' "So What". Enjoy!
