Over the last three years or so I have been getting together a collection of music from the late 60's through the 70's. This was the years of my youth, and I thought I had a pretty broad idea of music. Guess what? I now have close to seven hundred CD's and counting. I have all the music from the bands I listened to then, The Who, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Led Zep, Hot Tuna, Johnny Winter, etc., but some of these bands I'm now listening to for the first time blow me away. The Electric Flag, and all the other Michael Bloomfield & Nick Gravanities music I've found is just excellent music. Some other bands I've keyed in on are New Riders of the Purple Sage, Little Feat & Savoy Brown. Check this album out if you want to hear some good music from the past. - Old Book Reader
