The other day (in ANFSCD 2891), zigzagwanderer kindly shared Chlorophylle by Dédale, which I had requested. The tracklist on discogs shows sixteen tunes, organized into nine sets. Since the album was released only on cassette, whoever digitized it could not rely on CD indexes when splitting the album into separate files. They came up with twelve files, numbered but not titled. That’s more than the nine sets indicated in the cassette tracklist, suggesting that they split some of the two-tune sets into separate tracks. But it’s also less than the sixteen tunes in the cassette tracklist, suggesting that they kept some of the two-tune sets as single tracks.
I believe that I have correctly identified the tracks.
Fortunately, Dédale re-recorded three of the tunes, two on Le Maître Dhû and one on Chroniques Urbaines. So we know that track 5 is Alambic (erroneously separated from Fermentation) and track 8 is Chlorophylle/Scottish Jazzy (correctly kept together).
The first four tracks must contain a total of five tunes. The longest of these tracks (track 3) sounds like two tunes. The two tracks between the identified tunes must contain two tunes. The last four tracks must contain six tunes. The two longest of these tracks (tracks 9 and 12) each sound like two tunes. That gives the following tracklist:
1. Exode/
2. Traquenard
3. Scottish Du Boîteux/Scottine Biguiche
4. Fermentation/
5. Alambic
6. Tunis Aller-Retour
7. Message Subliminal
8. Chlorophylle/Scottish Jazzy
9. La Fièvre Du Dimanche Matin/Ephémère
10. Lévitation/
11. Tachycardie
12. Zazie Bourrée/Idem Mais En Plus Pas Pareil
The table of contents of Isabelle Pignol’s tunebook reveals that Traquenard is a waltz, Ephémère is a mazurka, Zazie bourée is a bourrée in 3, and Idem mais en plus pas pareil is a bourrée in 2. Track 2 sounds like a waltz. The second tune in track 9 is in 3 but doesn’t sound like a waltz, so it’s presumably a mazurka. I know nothing about bourrées, so I have no reason to doubt the identification of track 12.
The Mustradem website reveals that the personnel and instrumentation of Chlorophylle are slightly different than Dédale’s second album, Le Maître Dhû:
Serge Diara: keyboards
Isabelle Pignol: hurdy-gurdy
Norbert Pignol: accordion, guitar
Christophe Sacchettini: recorder, percussion
guests:
Olivier Cohu: bass
Jean-Pierre Sarzier: keyboards

V/A SHREDS - VOLUME #5
"SHREDS" was a 5 CD compilation series collecting great tracks from North American 7 inch punk and indiepop singles released in the '90s. That was the last pre-digital decade and massive amounts of vinyl were released. It was impossible for even avid fans to keep up, so you are likely to discover some lost gems.

I bought that LP when it came out and still listen to "Knick Knack Man" once in a while.
Thanks. Is the the CD with bonus tracks or the original LP?
Earlier this year, AlbumsIWishExisted took the liberty to splice this album into two new ones.
He managed to take out Pierre henry's contribution to create a Spooky Tooth album
and he kindly created the album as a solo Pierre henry excursion
I can recommend both, and also this original

Currently he experiences problems with his soulseek sharing. I strongly advise contacting
him through his mail if you want the seperated albums

Deluxe 21 tracks dates 68 & 69. No art with mine. Looks like a cd to me.
When I was a kid in London in the 60s when we wanted someone to "go away" we would say "On your bike mate!" I say it to you now as encouragement to get better. On your bike mate and may the road rise up behind you.
Oh wow, I had no idea there was a book about the Canadian punk scene!
Merci mille fois, M. de Gonzo!

I think this the 3 cd 30th anniversary super deluxe version, sans dvd. Wherever I got it from ...it doesnt have as detailed tags as I'd like so i'm not sure. The problem is disc 3's track list doesnt match the disc 3 track list on Discogs. Maybe you can figure it out. Regardless, it's great.

Which part do you really want?

Could some kind soul help me to acquire some Skull Defekts please? I have a low-bitrate version of Peer Amid, but that's all i've ever found by them. Judging from their discogs page many of their releases were very limited editions. Thank you very much.

I second BigGray's thanks to Richie Nixan.
It looks like disc 3 is just the first two discs repeated in the same order x

Arnos Uploads #7 :
Sadly, no new music from the TVPS has been released since 2010 ( - of course we still hope this might change someday!), but there have been some interesting compilations over the years. Today I present two of them (one is a double CD):

Thanks Richie. I'm one of those who think that the original releases are always the best. I'm not into remasters, remixes, and so on. Even less when it's done by so-called fans who tamper with the files and think they can do better than the origianl artists/engineers/producers. Just my opinion.
There's loads on SoulSeek
Searnav, I totally agree. Only in this case I always believed Spooky Tooth themselves were not pleased with the original release, and this project was pushed by the label/producers. Pj from that blog has
made (imo) an honest effort, and I think the Pierre Henry solo tracks come through rather well.
I always found this album a mismatch. And I cannot think of many other albums that would
benefit from such a treatment. Except for some fake-audience albums.
Thanks, anonymous.
Lorcan, i can't figure out musify as it's in Russian; i think it's asking me to sign up but a) is it safe, and b) how do i go about it if it is? Help!
@EasilyConfused - thanks, but all i have is this android phone.

Much thanks!
Thanks Searnav for the Paladin share.
Hi Psyclist! I made Back Pages (much of which was re-engineered) in 1996 as an experiment to see how fast a file could spread via file-sharing (which in those days meant Napster and Bearshare). Happy to see the file is still floating around and that it brought you some enjoyment. Hope you're feeling much better soon!
