Pete “Scott” Ainsworth was Savoy Brown’s lead vocalist “between” Dave Peverett and Dave Walker (December 1970 - April 1971). No studio tracks with him exist, but here we have, among others, an early live version of “Street Corner Talking” which would later be re-recorded in the studio with Dave Walker on vocals and be the opening track of their eponymous LP in 1971.
Earlier, Pete Ainsworth was the lead singer of Haydock’s Rockhouse, the band formed by Eric Haydock, former bass player of The Hollies, and later he was also the lead singer of Beggar’s Opera.
Paul Raymond’s keyboards are heavily featured.

Here's an very hard to get raritie by the swedish fronman Nicke Andersson, Imperial State Elecric, wich the guy formed after lay The Hellacopters on ica. ESE made om rellt good albums avut te years, anthey also gave out (in japan pf course) an compilation in 2013 called "Rodio Elecrtic" with only b-sides. So, here's a copy pm mine cd, I also put them with 7 extra tracks (b-sides after 2013 to 2016).Definitely woth a listen for fans of Hellacopters, ESE and Nicke Adersson. Hey. I don f'd up yesterday and posted the wrong link for the old-timey stuff. Here we go again with the right link.
I call it "Old-Timey", but technically it would be called popular vocal tunes from the 1920s with some a bit earlier and some a little later.
You get some original or early versions, don't know which, of some songs which got popular later. You have a version of Otis Redding's'Try A Little Tenderness" and a version of "Casey Jones" from 1910 done by a guy called Bill Murray. "My Blue Heaven" made popular by Fats Domino is here and a few others you might recognize from later versions.
Some really great tunes no matter what century you live in or you don't party in a tuxedo or even if you don't know any flappers to get drunk on illegal hooch with.
These are some of my favorites. I avoided songs from the Pennies From Heaven soundtrack because I thought they'd be more familiar to people. And as a special bonus I added a Peter Sellers song pretending to sound like he's Al Jolson or Rudy Vallee or somebody. It's funny and kinda catchy.
As Fred Astaire says on "Music Makes Me" from 1933.

Thanks for the YouTube Spotlight Kid Outtakes link .
As you likely know there have been several versions of these outtakes over the years , some better than others & sometimes with different file names . The version I posted is the most comprehensive I have .
There is another version with more tracks that I will have by the weekend . I may post it at the end of my current Beefheart bootleg series in a few weeks time .
I will also post a wants list of boots that I don't yet have in the hope that one of the 120 plus weekly downloaders may be able to help .
