…and now for something completely different! 1614 - 2022

These arrogant fucking politicians don't give a fuck about us! They don't know that they are as superfluous as telephone disinfectors and hairdressers! It is to cry for! - RYP

We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2020 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful. All the rest official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy. Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966

Last month, sambgodot was kind enough to post a bunch of Bangles-related albums. As an addition, here is Kindred Spirit, featuring Debbi Peterson. They did the original version of Debbi's song Ask Me No Questions, which the Bangles recorded on Doll Revolution.

I've put together their self-titled album, the non-album tracks from their two singles, and one song from a various artists compilation.

Two caveats: 1. Some of the tracks come from youtube, so they may not be real 320. 2. Some of tracks had a minute or so of silence at the end. Rather than re-encode them to edit it out, I simply set a stop time earlier than the end of the track. This works in iTunes and on iPods, but I have no idea whether other devices will recognize stop times before the end of the track. Anyway, worst case scenario is that you still have the silence that was there when I got them.

Hidden track on Rural Free Delivery. When I put my CD into my CD player, I am able to access the hidden track by scrolling backwards in track 1. when I put my CD into my laptop to rip it, the software does not recognise the hidden track, it won't rip it. So it goes. As I noted earlier there are 2 alternative versions of Nervous Breakdown on Drunken Confessions.

That's not even counting bands with similar names, such as Kindred Spirits.

la musica, Peter Fonda recorded "November Nights" (a Gram Parsons song) as a single and it was long thought to be the only existing released version. Decades after Fonda's version, a recording by Parsons finally surfaced on a compilation album.
