Some early Graham Parker...
Graham Parker - Howlin' Wind (1976) CD
Parker builds his white r&b of such familiar materials that it takes awhile for the songs to sort themselves out, but their fury is unmistakable--in the time-honored English manner, bass and drums play the house-rocking rhythms of Chicago and Detroit for righteous anger rather than good-time escape. Then songs come clear, marred at times by the white bluesman's chronic romanticism of the blood--"Gypsy Blood," to be precise--but so passionate that every personal animus takes dead aim at the great world. Parker's "strange religion/Without any God" may well be himself. But when he instructs the Lord not to ask him questions, he doesn't extend the prohibition to Graham Parker.- Christgau
Graham Parker - Heat Treatment (1976) CD
Parker doesn't just have the makings of a major artist, he is one. Because his more reflective and/or accusatory tendencies here show up his rather narrow timbral and melodic range, this isn't quite as engaging as Howlin Wind. Even the verve of the Rumour's arrangements and Parker's deft and pithy way with vernacular speech don't entirely redeem "Black Honey" or "Help Me Shake It." But the sound is a lot fuller, and the defiance in the face of social collapse more bracing as a result.

GRAHAM PARKER & THE RUMOUR - "Mystery Glue" (2015)
http://www13.zippyshare.com/v/lqapK6Aq/file.html
Graham Parker and the Rumour, one of the UK's pioneering pre-punk bands, returns with a new album, Mystery Glue. Written in Parker's second home of New York and recorded in just six days in the legendary RAK studios in London, Mystery Glue is a real return to form for this seminal British songwriter and powerhouse band, which features its original lineup of Parker, Bob Andrews, Brinsley Schwarz, Martin Belmont, Andrew Bodnar and Stephen Goulding.
GRAHAN PARKER & THE RUMOUR - "Three Chords Good" (2012)
http://www13.zippyshare.com/v/KRDSv6n8/file.html
The expert elastic roots rock of the Rumour gives his songs depth, making Three Chords Good the rare reunion that simultaneously looks back while living in the present. Parker’s rarely been in better voice, buoyed by the presence of old friends intuitive to his innermost thoughts and intentions. It's the sound of songwriter matched to band that makes this record so deliriously good. Not so much a comeback, more a welcome back.
Enjoy!!...about Parker..a little request..anyone could share "12 Haunted Episodes"?...lost long time ago & missed sometimes...
