…and now for something completely different! 2053 - 2023

These fucking politicians, warlords and religious... They don't know that they are as superfluous as telephone disinfectors and hairdressers! - RYP

We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2021 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful. All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy. Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966

That version of Almost Saturday Night is from Fogerty's album Wrote a Song for Everyone (2013), which consists of remakes of his songs with other people. Keith Urban is on this version.

The original (and better, to my ears) is on Fogerty's eponymous album, from 1975.

This version of Almost Saturday Night is from the album Wrote A Song For Everyone. Keith Urban starts the song and the second voice heard on the track is John's. Here are a couple of videos from YouTube.

It IS John Fogerty in a duet with Keith Urban on Almost Saturday Night.

@Anonymous
Yep, sure is John Fogerty but with Keith Urban. It's from John's 2013 'Wrote A Song For Everyone' CD/2LP release.

https://www.discogs.com/master/561901-John-Fogerty-Wrote-A-Song-For-Everyone

Just a hint and suggestion @Anonymous... It's customary here to take some sort of nickname to sign your comments, requests, etc. along with your use of Anonymous. You're still anonymous, unless of course you choose to use your real name as some do here. Otherwise you may not get any response. But thanks for questioning it as it led me to search for the source.

@Frank Inzani
Thanks ever so much for the Fogerty collection! Quite a few tracks I was not aware of, especially the 'Almost Saturday Night' version which, along with the rest of the release, I was not aware of until now.

Speaking of which, if anyone has Fogerty's 'Wrote A Song For Everyone' I'd really appreciate a share!

Ha! Should've known I might get beaten to the response on the Fogerty 'Almost Saturday Night'... despite the lack of a nickname. Personally, I prefer when folks use a nickname in case I want to backtrack on a thread I may have missed. Makes the search much easier.

As always, thanks to the TZ community for your generosity, shares and other info. Nary a week goes by where I don't find something to expand my musical horizons!

Thank you all for your kind reactions. I could have looked a bit further and find that Almost Saturday Night was my mistake not to be recognized as truely a John Fogerty.
Thank you for the numerous and kind ways of putting me right.
And though this comment is also anonymous, I will use a name when I think I have something real to say.
