We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2021 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful.
All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy.
Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966

Molly Drake
Mary Drake (born Mary Lloyd); 5 November 1915 – 4 June 1993), also known as Molly Drake, was an English poet and musician, best known as the mother of the actress Gabrielle Drake and the musician Nick Drake.
Molly Drake never released any official publications of her poetry or compositions in her lifetime, but she had a profound impact on the musical style of her son. As Nick Drake's music gained a larger following after his death, Molly Drake's recordings have been released, which uncover the musical similarities between her and her son.

Some classical stuff on this springtime Sunday.
Louis Clark was a keyboard player, music arranger and arranger who worked with many famous artists, like Roy Orbinson, Ozzy Osborne, Roy Woyd, Kiki Dee and others. Here he is with Annie Haslam who is best known for her work with 'Renaissance'. On this album, you're listening to songs of Tchaikovsky, Bach, Mozart, Satie and Fauré.

InFlight Entertainment (1996)
Compiled By – The Karminsky Experience Inc.
Since it was assembled by DJs, it benefits from a dance-friendly quality and sense of melodic flow that many lounge compilations lack. As a result, it manages to be an exciting listen from start to finish. In short, In Flight Entertainment's combination of consistency and adventurous sounds makes it one of the best lounge compilations available.

Further In Flight Entertainment (1997)
Further In Flight Entertainment retains the dance music emphasis and careful programming that made In Flight Entertainment such a delight. As a result, Further In Flight Entertainment can be recommended to lounge fans and novices alike because it presents an ideal mix of adventurous musicianship and catchy tunes wrapped up in one deliciously kitschy package.

Dave McMurray's Grateful Deadication - Live at the Parliament Room at Otus Supply 9.9.2021
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX_4aOG-EDc
[Dave McMurray has taken a long, strange trip to arrive at his sophomore release for Blue Note Records. On Grateful Deadication, the saxophonist takes his gritty, soulful Detroit sound and reimagines the flower empowered songs of San Francisco icons the Grateful Dead ]
[or this spirited excursion into the Dead’s vast repertoire, McMurray reconvened the rhythm section that graced his 2018 Blue Note debut, Music Is Life. This time out, bassist Ibrahim Jones and drummer Jeff Canady are joined by guitarist Wayne Gerard and keyboardist Maurice O’Neal, both longtime compatriots from the Motor City scene, as well as pianist Luis Resto and percussionist Larry Fratangelo, colleagues from McMurray’s days in Was (Not Was).
The album also features a special guest appearance by Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir, along with powerhouse vocalist Bettye LaVette and Weir’s Wolf Bros bandmates Don Was, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti and Greg Leisz, for a transcendent version of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter’s “Loser.”]
Dave has released two Albums of Dead Compositions.

First of all I want to thank BigGray for all the Nick Drake that I didn't have. Three or four that I didn't have before, and at least one upgrade in bit rate.
So he and I exchanged a couple of emails, and worked out what I had that he didn't (not a lot) and some things he wasn't going to post, mostly because they were repeats of other stuff.
But for the completists ...
The problem is, as it has been, that there is only so many recordings that Nick made, and so many different reissues of the same material.
Some dates are dodgy, the Complete Home Recordings are not, but today and tomorrow I'm uploading some extras.
