I've been pleasantly surprised by the reaction to the Vintage Hawaiian postings. I first began picking up this music because it was being resissued by legitimate blues labels like Arhoolie & Yazoo and figured they must be something to it. Since then I acquired a real fondness for the music and recognize how impactful the music was in the pre-war years. Having recently traveled to Hawaii and playing the music incessantly while there, I could honestly say that these vintage recordings still mirrors the environment. I'll keep going as long as there's interest in continuing.
