Thanks! And I'm happy you groove to some of my mixtapes, feels great to bring joy into other peoples life with music, such an import things in our life. It will be more mixtapes in the future in those series.
I can understand that those Keep On Truckin' feels a bit mainstream, no problem, it's all about taste:-) Sometimes there's a very thin line between cheezy country rock and those tunes who gives you goose bums, and the genre is not for all, just as the southern rock series i put out this summer, and some people like the more bluesy stuff in both those genres. :-)
I think you should put out that Keep On Chooglin-series when you have time, many regulars asking for them, and myself found many tracks I never heard, would be very groovy to listen to them. Have a great saturday!

Just listening to the Charlie Daniels Uneasy Rider LP that someone posted a few days ago. I was not very familiar with his work, but for some reason I thought I'd download it...what a pleasant surprise. It was nothing like my preconceived notion of what a Charlie Daniels song would sound like, and it is quite enjoyable. Are his other albums from this period in the same vein? I was expecting country, but it seems to me to be rocky/soul with a twang, which is not a bad thing.
AND, I had not heard the song Uneasy Rider since it would play on the radio when it was new. I never even KNEW it was the CD Band!
Anyway, thanks again to the original requester and the person who posted it.

I totally agree with, Uneasy Rider is a really great album by Charlie Daniels. If I got it right, Charlie Daniels released albums under the first half of the 70s under his own name and Charlie Daniels Band, I think they sounds a bit different. Charlie Daniels Band have more country rock feel, some bluesy stuff as well. Albums under his own name are more pure country. I think all of his alums from that period are a bit uneven, but there are really great tunes on all of them. I think you should listen to them all. I can share those albums if you like for you with start on monday, if not someone else already did by then. Keep on truckin'! ;-)
