Rolling Bidochons – Sales Gueules
Mantra Records COM 6035 (France 1990)
Les Bidochons were a French rock parody / pastiche / take off band. They specialized in covering famous rock artists in French, while trying to have song titles phonetically sounding and the artwork and the titles of the albums looking as much as possible as the originals. The members’ artist names were also parodies / take offs. The lyrics are often double-entendre (double sens) and sexually-minded. Those who understand French will know what I mean.
This is their “tribute” to The Rolling Stones re-titled “Sales Gueules” (sounding like “Some Girls”).

This is their “tribute” to The Beatles.
“4 Beadochons Dans Le Vent” refers to the French title of the “Help” LP which was “4 Garçons Dans Le Vent”. The cover was a take off on the “Sgt Peppers” LP cover. Yoko Ono sued them and they had to change one of the song (Hey Jules).
