P.S. So we’re sitting here in our apartment wondering if Love & Sanity are going to save the world from The Great Orange Menace or not & then started talking about Cindy Lee Berryhill’s 1989 album, “Who’s Gonna Save The World?” & how much we liked it.
We were remembering watching her play the song “Damn, I Wish I Was A Man” live on a TV show where she was accompanied by another woman & some weird-looking dude named “Way Out Rex” who was playing stand up bass. For some reason we think that it was an MTV show but we could be wrong.
We used to have a vinyl copy of that album but we sold all our vinyl in the 2000’s yet were sure we had a CD of it but after an extensive search we found nothing of the sort.
So would any kind soul in TZ-land have a copy of that album that they could share with me?
I’d be mighty grateful if you did.

Dean Owens is a Scottish singer-songwriter who blends roots, rock, folk and americana genres. He has released 12 solo albums, several EPs and collaborations. Starting with his 8th album he began collaborating with the members of Calexico - a band that I really like. I made myself an Owens mix leaning in that direction.
