Here we go: Three more items from my old cardboard box filled with lots of CD-Rs by experimental european artists and projects!
1. Konrad Korabiewski – Stateless (2008) CD
Konrad Korabiewski is a Danish/Polish experimental composer, sound and media artist. This is his debut CD. “Stateless is a selection of recordings done between 1998 and 2008. The album’s title signifies Korabiewski’s own sense of ”disbelonging”, and, stylistically, Stateless does combine moody Eastern European lo-fi-meets-hi-fi dance music with Scandinavian idiosyncrasies. Pixie-dust beats, zany synths and warped broadcasts from the Planet Lodz, forming avantgarde electronic pop music pieces for techno- happy melody fiends and interstellar noise/drone buffs alike. In addition to eight such tracks (plus a curious interlude), the handsomely packaged CD contains a remix by none other than German lap-pop superstar Schneider TM. Furthermore, a video, Slowloop, can be found on the disc” - and of course included in the download!

The perfect project name for the moment: HEATSICK! “Heatsick is an British artist and musician living and working in Berlin. His work references cybernetics, extended disco edits, minimal composition, linguistics, early house and techno, hybridization, performance, sculpture and video.”

3. Korbi - Histoires Naturelles (201x) - CD-R
This is one of the rare cases where I couldn’t find anything about the CD-R or the artist in the interwebs… I cannot even remember where and when I purchased this, most likely at a gig of a French band as the infos on the cover are written in french… These are funny little sound miniatures based on many field recordings of farm animals.
