…and now for something completely different! 3095 - 2026

These damned religious fanatics, politicians, warlords, and so on... Instead of sending the children of their peoples to THEIR OWN WARS, these idiots should settle their differences in large arenas with boxing matches or football games! For example, the "peace-making" Evangelical Messiah Agent Orange against the belligerent Putin, or the Pope in his ridiculous disguise against the bearded Ayatollahs with beards down to their navels... More examples welcome! - RYP

PLEASE READ OUR RULES:
We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS OR BOOKS RELEASED IN 2024 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS OR BOOKS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful. All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy. Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966 and Gaius R.I.P.

@ Mr Kleeg - I just tried to download documentary All you need is love, parts 1-3, but the links are expired.
Could you please re-up them?
Many thanks in advance.

@RickSaunders, Thanks for these gems. Thad Cockrell had a moment back then and then just disappeared, unfortunately. As for Caitlin Cary, she is a national treasure and you all owe it to yourselves to seek out any and all her music, especially now that she has retired from the music scene (likely due to lack of interest/sales, which is a tragedy). She was in Whiskeytown and Tres Chicas and her solo material is worth knowing. --Muzak McMusics

@M. Kleeg:
I was away for about a week, and unfortunately missed the Popeye posts for 1938 and 1939. The links are now expired. Could you (or any kind soul" please re-up these? Thanks so much!!. I have been watching these in preparation for the Robin Williams "Popeye" film - which I never saw before but intend to watch in the near future.

Thank you very much Mr Kleeg.
Popeye The Sailor classic, historical(!) cartoons always bring joy!
I spent a couple of days "in the wild" with no internet
and missed the years 1938 and 1939, these links had already gone West...
Do I dare to ask if there is any possibility you'll re-post them?
Obviously if it's not too much work for you.

You’re welcome, Muzak McMusics!
I’d forgotten just how great those two albums are. Haven't listened to them in years and now it’s all I want to hear. I used to feel the same about Whiskeytown’s Almanac but creeper Ryan Adams…ugh. Glad I got to see them live, though. Frat boys up front wouldn't stop talking and Adams shut them down hard. The crowd went wild.
