…and now for something completely different! 3107 - 2026

These damned religious fanatics, politicians, warlords, and so on... Instead of sending the children of their peoples to THEIR OWN WARS, these idiots should settle their differences in large arenas with boxing matches or football games! For example, the "peace-making" Evangelical Messiah Agent Orange against the belligerent Putin, or the Pope in his ridiculous disguise against the bearded Ayatollahs with beards down to their navels... More examples welcome! - RYP

PLEASE READ OUR RULES:
We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS OR BOOKS RELEASED IN 2024 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS OR BOOKS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful. All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy. Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966 and Gaius R.I.P.

Johnny Hallyday – Nous Les Gars, Nous Les Filles

LP = Vogue LD. 539-30 (France February 1st, 1961)

CD with 3 bonus tracks = Vogue 74321117742 (France 1992)

Hallyday’s second vinyl LP but first 33 rpm 12”/30 cm.

A and B sides were erroneously switched on the back cover when compared with what’s written on the LP labels. Then, on the CD, the first bonus track (track 13 = CD7) was inserted as track 7, after the 6 tracks from the LP A side. Both other bonus tracks (CD 14 and CD 15) were added after the 6 tracks from the LP B side. It makes the track numbers confusing in the tags.

1. A1 Nous Les Gars, Nous Les Filles (Boys And girls) (1:52)
2. A2 Oui Mon Cher (I Want That) (2:27)
3. A3 Le P'tit Clown De Ton Coeur (Cathy's Clown) (2:29)
4. A4 Ce S'rait Bien (Sweet Nothin's) (2:27)
5. A5 Ce N'Est Pas Méchant (2:32)
6. A6 Tu Parles Trop (You Talk Too Much) (2:01)
7. B1 Kili Watch (2:47)
8. B2 Une Boum Chez John (2:04)
9. B3 Mon Septième Ciel (Seven Steps To Love) (1:58)
10. B4 Bien Trop Timide (3:24)
11. B5 Oui J'Ai (3:02)
12. B6 Tu M'Plais (2:10)
13. CD7 Laisse Les Filles (Knocked Out) (2:21)
14. CD14 T'Aimer Follement (Makin' Love) (2:33)
15. CD15 24.000 Baisers (24 Mila Baci) (2:20)

Just got the sad news that South African piano giant Dollar Brand (also known as Abdullah Ibrahim) has passed away. Here's his amazing Cape Town Fringe (a.k.a. Mannenberg Is Where It's Happening) from 1974.
