Salmonella Dub "One Drop East" 2004

Salmonella Dub began in Otautahi Aotearoa as a 3 piece in 1992, crafting their name from bass heavy dub riddums and tongue in cheek DIY samples dropped in real time from an old guitar on off pedal hot wired to the motor of a Sharp cassette deck.
Well, as already said in the title, there is simply no comparison for Salmonella Dub, the sound is so fresh that the loudspeakers would freeze if the rich bass didn't make them glow!
Sounds that nobody in Europe makes like that, with more spirit than some here who shout "Rastafari" all day long...
Salmonella Dub are real "heroes" in New Zealand, the guys are very nice and don't have any airs and graces, small talk after the concert is simply normal in NZ, without the bands immediately disappearing backstage, they stand with their feet firmly on the other side of the world...
