We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2020 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful.
All the rest official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy.

Request #1: "Miami - Atlanta & The South Eastern States - Blues In The Alley," a single CD from the Down Home Blues series. This may have been posted 4-5 weeks ago -- if so, I missed it. Help appreciated.
Request #2: This one's a completely different genre and era: Let's Active "Cypress and Afoot" [2on1 CD]. For the uninitiated, this was Mitch Easter's group and a more exciting, guitar clangy, masterfully produced pop album you'll be hardpressed to find :-) Sorry, but as it's an all-time fave of mine, *FLAC only* please.
Thanks in advance,
Ron

There's been some outstanding rare Blues & R&B posted here recently, so I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone. In particular Bob, wallyk, Little Boy Blue, tads44 & Searnav, you guys have made some great posts and your efforts are much appreciated.
zigzagwanderer,
Thank you sir, as we say in these parts,
your bloods worth bottling!
@Ryp
The Diabolik's was new to me, but they sounded amazing! If you or Herick M would like to share their other two releases I would be happy. :-D
If someone want the fantastic Long Ryders album wich are on the main page today, remastered from 2016 in mp3@320 or FLAC, I got it. Maybe it's wrong to offer it while it's on the main page, RYP or Gyro get to decide, give me a sign if it's ok or some want it, or in wich of the two formats (or both). Cheers.
This one will appeal to some of you. A 70's WestCoast album which is practically unknown.
From the Japanese group, Happy End.
So why would I call it a 70's WestCoast album?
Cause apart from the band, it features this line-up.
Lowell George — slide guitar
Bill Payne — piano
Van Dyke Parks — organ, piano
Tom Scott — alto & tenor saxes
Dave Duke — French horn
Slyde Hyde — trombone
Chuck Findley — trumpet
Kirby Johnson — brass arrangements (01-03)
Damn good album actually!

Is anyone else in the US having a problem with imaginetz? Today, suddenly, I've effectively been blocked by the site with a message that my browser is not secure. When I checked and confirmed my security settings per their instructions, the site remained blocked.
When I went through my VPN and used a German address, the problem was solved for me, but I wondered if anyone else was having similar difficulties.
@Aaron Vincent - I posted John Lee Hooker on my money swarm yesterday.

Aha, well I guess it's wrong with my eyes rather than my ears then;-) Great choices btw!
Susan Donimus... That is wonderful. Appreciate both of the shares. I've been listening to them on '60s gold and amazed at how good their drummer was! Look forward to hearing these. Thanks again
@BigGray - I am getting a 404 message on the link to Wings at the Speed of Denny Laine.... am I the only one? Thanks.

Looking for two Mike Wilhelm titles:
Wilhelm on UK United Artists
Mean OL'Frisco on New Rose
I'm a bit behind in, so this may already have been answered.
I have the two albums you asked for on a single CD. The label is Fan Club. No real information on this label except I believe it originated in France. I have most of Mike's releases. Let me know if you want a copy of this or any other Mike Wilhelm releases.
Jerry Garcia (sometime in the late sixties) called Wilhelm the best guitar player to come out of the bay area.

@Gaius,
Re Mitch Easter related bands posted here several months ago, I did a "Mitch Easter" search on this site and only Let's Active CD's popped up as posted two years ago. So I'm assuming your postings were done within the "Something Different" pages. If you could give me an approximate date of those postings I could manually search for them.
I'll be interested to see what you posted as I've got a few oddball LPs myself of groups he produced. So far, however,I've found nothing as brilliant as his production work on Let's Active and the first two R.E.M. LPs [+EP]. But I'm always interested in listening to more. So thanks very much for the tip.
Ron
