Australian [and some New Zealand] Bands - The 2000s
PVT
PVT is an experimental band based between London and Sydney. Band members are Richard Pike, Laurence Pike and Dave Miller. Brothers Richard and Laurence grew up in Sydney, later meeting Dave Miller who originally comes from Perth, Australia.[1] The band have released five albums.
The first two releases by the band appeared under the name Pivot. In 2010, the group decided to remove the vowels from their name after a legal claim was made from an American band of the same name. Although in print it is PVT, the band can legally be called Pivot in all territories outside USA.

Mick Rogers
Mick Rogers (born Michael Oldroyd, 20 September 1946, Dovercourt, Essex, England) is an English rock guitarist, singer and songwriter, chiefly known for his time with Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1971 to 1975 and again since 1984.
His father was a drummer and his uncle a string bass player. The young Rogers was weaned on his uncle's jazz collection and 1950s rock and roll. Before MMEB he was a member of The Vision, which backed Adam Faith, and the Australian bands The Playboys, Bulldog, and Procession.

Many thanks for the two Mick Rogers albums. I well remember seeing him on several occasions performing with the MMEB - particularly when Noel McCalla was in the group. "Shelter From The Storm" was a real highlight.
Mick released two albums in the early 2000s "Back TO Earth" and "Father Of Day". Can you, or anyone else, please help with links to these treasures please? Many thanks if you or someone can. ;-) Cheers

An addition to BigGray's occasionally Iain Matthews postings, an album which he don't have. Matthews Southern Comfort released 3 albums in a row and after that Iain Matthews vanished.
In 1994 there was a sudden sign of Life, but the album 'Scion' was just a compilation of some outtakes and several BBC performances of the group with much material and personnel from the 'Later that same Year-album, 1970.(A few years ago, Iain Matthews had revitalized MSC with Dutch musicians, the country he's living now).

FINE WINE (MOBY GRAPE) - FINE WINE
Many bands got royally ripped of in the sixties, a fine tradition which continues to this very day. Few got ripped off more royally, however, than Moby Grape. You can read about them in Wikipedia, but basically it seems they had their name and money stolen by one-time manager Matthew Katz, who sounds perfectly vile. This had all kinds of bad consequences for the band members over several decades, and Moby Grape in no way fulfilled their potential, despite having made a couple of classic albums.
Because of the dispute over their name, the band worked under other names at various times. One of these was Fine Wine, under which moniker they issued one album, in Germany and Japan only, in 1976.

J'ai le cd de l'album "long long chemin" de Gérard Manset
Une bonne partie de mes affaires, sont dans un box, mais, je n'aurai accès à ce box que dans 8 jours ou dans le semaine du 16 au 22 Mai.
Si personne ne partage cet album auparavant, ou si c'est la version vinyl , alors je partagerai le cd de cet album.
A partir du mois de juin, je disposerai d'un peu plus de temps, pour farfouiller et retrouver mon coffret Mansetlandia, ainsi que quelques cd publiés avant le coffret.
Au cas où tu chercherais d'autres vinyls, désolé, ils sont tout au fond du box qui contient mes affaires depuis le divorce. Deux objets seulement :
