...However, the band's history was not completely over, because much later in the winter of 1987-88, it performed several times with the original members. In 1993, she was then restored with the aim of going on the country ball circuit in the summer following an album. The band then consisted of Pétri, Björgvin, Jón and Ásgeir, as well as Guðmundar Jónsson, who had made a name for himself as a songwriter and guitarist in Jón's Soul.
The album, which was named Pelican, received a fair amount of attention from radio stations and the songs Í vígahug (which was actually only released on the compilation album Grimm dúndur), Ástin er and Tjáður mér enjoyed some popularity. However, she received rather weak reviews, e.g. in the magazine Vikunni and something, the ball guests were reluctant to show themselves, at least that tour was canceled in the middle of summer and the village calmed down again. It did come together in 2001, but that's the whole history of the band.
Pelican has had songs on compilation albums throughout the years, as the band released several songs that have become classics, e.g. Jenny darling.
