We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2021 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful.
All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy.
Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966

Funny comment on the series. I could go one for months but probably won't since the TZ audience would get awfully bored long before then. At least your comment has propelled me on for a least the short term.

Written high up in a cabin of the Sierra mountains, Eric Relph’s Pretty Darlin’ started as a just-for-fun project that gradually snowballed into a timeless document of breezy California living in the late 1970s. With collaborators like Bill Champlin (Sons of Champlin) and Michael Allsup (Three Dog Night), Relph cut his one and only LP at producer Allsup’s studio in Santa Monica and self-released it to little fanfare in 1978. Perhaps due in part to the evocative cover by surf artist Bill Ogden, psych gradually aficionados took notice, elevating the album to lost classic status.

I was living in the radio edge zone where it was possible to receive the pirats. And I remember how often I tried in vain to record a new single. In between there was suddenly white noise until it came back. But we had enough material to buy the album. And then it was copied a few times on the tape decks and recorders (C-60, metal). Some of these tapes have survived and during all the past decades I bought all these bands, artists and albums as far as I was able to re-identify them.
@Vin
Please believe me THIS member of the TZ audience won't get bored! As far as I am concerned keep 'em coming. Perhaps if it is getting in the way of you posting other stuff you could maybe post the CCs once or twice a week? Your efforts are very much appreciated. Thank you.

Swinsian
Just wanted to add to the very positive comments about Swinsian. Still have about 50,000 tracks to goto catch up with the 300k, but I can say for sure, I never would have started collecting something like the Chronological series in iTunes or Apple Music. Swinsian is reliable, fast, and batch edits with regex, as well as being scriptable. Sure it is a bit of a one man band development team, but he is a very diligent guy, and working on beta 6 of the version 3.0 release. The betas so far seem very solid.
Cheers all

@Gaius
Good morning, Gaius, many thanks for the links! Great Stuff, i'm happy!
Kindly reards, Mike
@ Rick Saunders, the Import Playlist option is in the file menu.
Most all you need to know for setup is in the Help menu. Expand each section and copy/paste it into TextEdit and it all fits onto a single printed page.
Then go thru and edit your Preferences (under the Swinsian menu item). That's it.
I guess you are trying out an evaluation copy. I've used Swinsian as my mac media player for well over ten years now, and recommend it as a pay-for app that is well worth the money. Consistent, stable and maintained, unlike many of Apple's own consumer level apps I used to rely on that were debased or discontinued during that same period – iWork, Bento database and the original Airplay to name a few…
Thanks, @Moselekatse! I'm using the paid version.
Another question if you don't mind- All my music is on an external hard drive. Do I need to do anything with Swinsian to point it in that direction or will that option be in the Preferences as well?
Thanks again!
-Rick
