…and now for something completely different! 3191 - 2026

These damned religious fanatics, politicians, warlords, and so on... Instead of sending the children of their peoples to THEIR OWN WARS, these idiots should settle their differences in large arenas with boxing matches or football games! For example, the "peace-making" Evangelical Messiah Agent Orange against the belligerent Putin, or the Pope in his ridiculous disguise against the bearded Ayatollahs with beards down to their navels... - RYP

PLEASE READ OUR RULES:
We have a first entry each day that is a picture or a video, and only in that entry you can place your music links and requests (NO ALBUMS OR BOOKS RELEASED IN 2024 AND AFTER, AND A DAILY LIMIT OF 3 ALBUMS OR BOOKS AND NO REQUESTS FOR FLAC OR OTHER LOSSLESS, IF YOU WANT FLAC, BUY THE ALBUM)! Here you can say what you like, unless it's offensive, racist or discriminatory! Please keep your language polite and respectful. All other official posts will only allow comments related to the official posts and such. That way it will keep things much more organized and tidy. Enjoy! RYP and Gyro1966 and Gaius R.I.P.

ARNO NYMS FOLKY KALLAX SHELF – part 12
--------------------------------------------------------
The third part of my Seth Faergolzia related posts, featuring some forest creatures today:
Seth Faergolzia and John Ludington have a very close musical relationship. They have been friends since school, with a 20-year friendship and longstanding mutual musical influence, before finally collaborating as the duo/project Forest Creature in 2013. They toured together in the US and Europe, and Forest Creature was created by exchanging song fragments and recording them together. Their music combines both artists’ experimental folk, anti-folk and eccentric songwriting, with acoustic instruments, electronics and foot percussion.

1 - Forest Creature - Forest Creature (2013)
...is a collaborative album, created through exchanging song ideas and recording together. It blends their eccentric experimental folk, anti-folk and lo-fi songwriting, combining acoustic instruments, playful rhythms, electronics and layered vocals.

2 - John Ludington - Some Glitter (2008)
... is an album by American singer-songwriter John Ludington, rooted in understated acoustic folk and intimate, personal songwriting. Its warm, lo-fi character and simple arrangements give it a homespun Americana/indie-folk feel.

3 - John Ludington - Finn (2011)
.... is another intimate release by American singer-songwriter John Ludington, continuing his understated acoustic approach. The album blends folk, Americana and lo-fi singer-songwriter elements, with a warm, personal and unpretentious character.

@ SUT
What timing! You've planned your only annual holiday with the family for the second week of September. You set off in high spirits for northern Italy, to the wonderful Lake Iseo near Bergamo, which is far superior to the better-known, larger and overcrowded lakes (Maggiore and Garda) in every respect: atmosphere, friendliness and food. And then, on the next day, the long-lost son returns to the TZone! With verve, energy, and an extremely well-stocked cornucopia. The last time we spoke/mailed, dear Sut, was in October 2022, when I asked what had become of your '23,000' (reggae singles!) project. Your reply was clear: "I couldn't resist digging further, so the 23,000 project became the 50,000+ project... All I can say at this stage is that it will be worth the wait."
And here we are now, only four years later! It's superb to have you back in this form and with such momentum! I am of course looking forward to the revised compilations, and no doubt there will be plenty of new ones too. I anticipate all of them greatly.
Just one more thing: next time you make one of your miraculous reappearances, please give us a heads-up beforehand – I need to organise my holiday plans! Best, TC

accboy, perhaps you should ask to have your blog put in the sidebar of links. If every blogger who commented on here posted a link to their latest posts, it would make for a lot of space. Just a suggestion from someone who has noticed. Hey Bob, was your recent post a lug? lol
